A podcast can be a powerful asset for any business—boosting brand visibility, expanding reach to fresh audiences, and establishing credibility and trust. It offers a unique opportunity to connect with listeners on a personal level, highlight your expertise, and cultivate a loyal community that’s genuinely engaged with your message. Plus, it’s a smart way to drive traffic to your other platforms and services.
Sure, you can record and release a podcast straight from your phone—there are plenty of really clever apps out there that make it easy at very minimal cost. But if you want your podcast to truly stand out with captivating content, crisp production, broadcast-quality sound, you’ll need to push the boat out a tad. That’s where I come in. With professional expertise and a creative edge, I’ll help elevate your podcast from ok to exceptional.
When a podcast is recorded there will be lots of little spaces (some longer ones too!) between the narrative that need to be removed to ensure it all flows along nicely. The fluctuations in volume (adjusted by applying compression) sibilance (those nasty little hisses we get with certain words mainly beginning with S or T) Also popping sounds from the words beginning with P, etc. It’s also essential that the overall tone rests easy on the ear and isn’t harsh or boomy. The actual volume also needs to be set to the industry standard that is accepted by the podcast hosting services.
Mastering is the final icing on the cake—the part that ensures your podcast sounds crisp, consistent, and ready for the world. Once your mix has been edited and polished to perfection, I’ll fine-tune every detail: balancing levels, enhancing clarity, and setting the overall volume to meet the required levels of the Podcast platforms. It’s this last step that gives your audio that professional edge before it goes live.
The turnaround time depends on three key factors: the length of your podcast, the quality of the original recording and the amount of editing required. Preparation makes all the difference—taking a bit of extra time to get the basics right upfront not only streamlines the process but helps keep your budget under control.
I always suggest keeping it tight and impactful—short episodes (under 30 mins) are more suited to today’s attention spans. End each episode with a hook to draw listeners back for more.
Yes, I can assist by putting some great ideas and scripts together for your podcast and present a roadmap of episodes for you based on exactly what you’re aiming to say and to whom. I fully embrace the exciting possibilities of AI as a tool to enhance creativity—but not to replace it. My scriptwriting begins with a strong, human-crafted narrative built the traditional way: through thoughtful writing, depth, and finesse. Only then do I bring AI into the mix, using it to inject extra dynamism and polish. A final round of hands-on tweaking ensures your script retains its authenticity while benefiting from the best of both worlds.
You can record at your office or preferred location if acoustics allow. I provide all of the recording equipment and can suggest or provide sound treatment solutions when needed. A quick site check helps confirm suitability—though if you’re near traffic or an airport, a studio may be the better choice.
Soundproofing can be expensive, so I usually recommend strategic sound treatment—an affordable way to enhance podcast acoustics. With years of experience in studios, home setups, and live gigs, I can guide you through it. Depending on your budget, I can also offer tailor made soundproofing solutions.
There are lots of excellent podcast studios across London that I have access to where and when required. Before booking a studio, it’s essential that you are fully scripted and prepared. There is an added cost involved on an hourly rate with the studio which we charge at cost.
There are some great jingle download services that are royalty free, in the public domain and completely free of cost. The paid for jingle providers offer a greater variety of choice. I’ll guide you through that process and where required, I can compose and record a jingle for you.
It’s important to make your artwork stand out in the crowd. I’ve either designed or consulted on the artwork for several albums and singles and can help you put together an eye catching banner incorporating your company logo and preferred colour scheme.
